Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said that "the intention of the Israeli enemy to carry out the attacks is to kill 5,000 people at once, but stressed that "God's mercy and kindness contributed to reducing losses."
In a speech on the recent developments in Lebanon, Nasrallah explained that many of the casualties were minor, and that "the great efforts by the community and relief teams contributed to thwarting the targets of the enemy, who was planning to kill five thousand people."
"Hizbullah has formed multiple investigation committees to study the circumstances of the bombings, and we have reached a semi-definitive conclusion, but we still need some time to confirm this result," Nasrallah said.
He considered that the Israeli aggression is a major and unprecedented blow to Lebanon, which is a severe blow, but this is the nature of the conflict, pointing to the technological superiority enjoyed by the occupation with American support.
