The activities of the Third International Al-Aqsa Call Conference commenced on Monday morning in the Iraqi city of Karbala, in the atmosphere of the Arbaeen commemoration of Imam Hussein (a), with the active participation of Palestinian symbols and prominent international figures.
The conference is held under the auspices of the Secretary-General of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine and organized by the Global Campaign for Return to Palestine, under the title "From the Battle of Tuff to the Flood of Al-Aqsa: The Victory of Will over Tyranny", and its first activities began with the visit of the participating delegations to the shrine of Imam Hussein (a).
After that, the participants met with the legitimate ruler of the shrine, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai, where they stressed the importance of holding the conference annually because of the global support for the Palestinian cause, especially this year, in light of the barbaric Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip.
The participating delegations met with the visitors, after which they will perform prayers at the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine
It is noteworthy that the opening session of the conference will be held at six o'clock in the evening, through speeches by representatives of the organizers and the most prominent Palestinian and international participants.
