Bangladeshis performed Eid al-Adha prayers this morning, in a festive atmosphere on the occasion of the coming of Eid.
Worshipers performed their rituals in the Bait al-Mukarram National Mosque and other local mosques, while livestock were slaughtered and sacrifices were offered.
Bangladesh had announced that the sighting of the crescent moon had not been confirmed on Thursday, June 6, and that Friday was the completion of the month of Dhul-Qi'dah, making it the first day of Eid al-Adha on Monday.
