Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah received the acting Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Baqeri Kani, and his accompanying delegation in the presence of the Iranian ambassador in Beirut.
Sayyed Nasrallah renewed his condolences over the martyrdom of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, his Foreign Minister Dr. Hossein Amir Abdollahian, and their companions, according to an official statement by Hezbollah.
During the meeting, the latest political and security developments in the region, especially on the Gaza and Lebanon fronts, the proposed solutions, and the existing possibilities regarding the development of events, were reviewed.
Sayyed Nasrallah thanked the Islamic Republic, its leader, government, and people, for its constant support for the peoples of the region and the resistance movements, and its firm and steadfast position despite all the sanctions and threats.
