Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Uzbekistan yesterday, Sunday, as part of a two-day official visit, during which he will hold talks with his Uzbek counterpart, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
During the negotiations, the two presidents intend to discuss prospects for developing bilateral relations and exchange views on regional problems.
The last time Putin visited Uzbekistan was in September 2022 to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit. Putin met Mirziyoyev a little more than two weeks ago, when the Uzbek president came to Moscow to celebrate the anniversary of the victory.
