US Central Command: Aid trucks will arrive on the Gaza coast within days

The US Central Command announced on Thursday that "trucks loaded with humanitarian aid will arrive on the Gaza coast in the coming days," stressing that "no American forces have entered Gaza."

The command said in a statement published on the “X” platform: “At approximately 7:40 a.m. (Gaza time), members of the US Central Command, who support the humanitarian mission to deliver additional humanitarian aid to Palestinian civilians in need, installed a temporary dock on the beach in Gaza.” Emphasizing that “as part of this effort, no American forces entered Gaza.”

She announced, "It is expected that trucks carrying humanitarian aid will begin moving to the beach in the coming days. The United Nations will receive the aid and coordinate its distribution in Gaza."

US President Joe Biden announced on March 8 that “the US army will build a temporary dock off the coast of Gaza, as an alternative to land routes in order to deliver aid to the Strip.”

It is noteworthy that up to 1,000 American service members are helping to establish the floating dock. The structure, which will consist of an 1,800-foot bridge that will be linked to the beach, aims to support the process of delivering humanitarian aid to civilians in the besieged sector.
