The Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei, visited the 35th session of the Tehran International Book Fair, Monday morning.
During this visit, Imam Khamenei was briefed on the latest editions of books displayed in the exhibition, and he also had conversations with room owners and publishers.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution was accompanied on this inspection visit to the Tehran International Book Fair by the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Mohammad Mehdi Ismaili.
The 35th session of the Tehran International Book Fair will be held under the slogan “Let’s Read and Build” from May 8 to 19 and on the ketab.ir system virtually.
More than 2,619 publishers are participating in the Tehran International Book Fair, and publishers from 60 countries are present at the fair to display 50,000 foreign book titles.
It is noteworthy that 45,000 foreign book titles were displayed at the book fair last year and this year, Yemen is a special guest at the Tehran Book Fair.
