For the 220th day... "Israel" continues its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip

Today, Monday, the war of destruction and genocide waged by the occupation entity on the Gaza Strip entered its 220th consecutive day, and the occupation planes, artillery, and gunboats continued their bombing of citizens’ homes and shelter centers, leaving tens of thousands of martyrs and wounded.

The toll of martyrs and wounded as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, according to data published by the Palestinian Ministry of Health yesterday, Sunday, rose to 35,034 martyrs and 78,755 injuries since the seventh of last October.

The occupation planes bombed a house for the Al-Nayrab family, a three-story house for the Abu Lahiya family, a house for the Khalil family, and a house for the Atallah family in the middle of Jabalia camp.

A martyr arrived at Al-Aqsa Hospital in the central Gaza Strip after being executed by the occupation forces while trying to return to northern Gaza.

For his part, the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, confirmed that the occupation’s claim that there are safe areas in the Gaza Strip is false and misleading, stressing that there is no safe place in Gaza.

Lazzarini said in a press statement: The occupation continues to issue forced displacement orders, and this forces people in Rafah to flee anywhere.

He pointed out that since the start of the war, most people in Gaza have fled several times, once a month on average. They have desperately searched for safety, but they have never found it.

He stressed that some have no choice but to remain in UNRWA “shelters” (shelters in schools), which were also bombed.

The occupation forces renewed their aerial and artillery bombardment towards the east of the city of Rafah, targeting the Al-Jeneina and Al-Barazil neighborhoods in Rafah.

Late yesterday evening, Sunday, Talal Abu Zarifa, a member of the political bureau of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, was martyred in an Israeli raid in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

The violent Israeli artillery shelling continued on areas in northern Gaza, especially east of Jabalia refugee camp and north of Beit Lahia, while Israeli helicopters opened fire in Jabalia and east of the city of Beit Hanoun.

Civil Defense crews were able to control a fire that broke out in a residential apartment as a result of targeting a neighboring house in the Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

One martyr and 10 injured arrived at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital as a result of the occupation aircraft’s bombing of the Bisan Medical Center in the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, completely destroying it.

Violent Israeli artillery shelling targeted central and eastern Rafah, coinciding with occupation aircraft carrying out a raid east of the city of Rafah.

The occupation drones targeted ambulance crews while they were trying to respond to a distress call in the Brazil camp in Rafah.

The Palestinian Civil Defense said: “We received a distress call about the targeting of a house in the Brazil Camp in Rafah Governorate, and when the ambulance crews arrived, they were shot at by occupation drones, which posed a danger to the crews’ presence there.

A citizen was martyred and three others were injured after the occupation forces targeted a group of citizens south of the city of Rafah.
