A gathering was held in front of the Iranian Embassy in Beirut to express solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran. Participants commended Tehran’s role in supporting Lebanon and the resistance axis, emphasizing that Iran has never abandoned Lebanon in times of crisis and adversity. They affirmed that Iran has honored its commitments and stood alongside Lebanon and resistance forces at every stage, bearing significant burdens and sacrifices in support of regional causes.
The attendees stressed that the Islamic Republic has continued its support for the resistance despite mounting pressures and challenges, and asserted that such contributions warrant recognition and gratitude from all sectors that have benefited from this assistance. They underscored a moral and humanitarian duty to extend thanks to the Iranian people, government, and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) for their positions and solidarity, noting that standing with Lebanon during difficult times deserves appreciation.
Furthermore, participants noted that recent regional developments have demonstrated the enduring presence of the resistance axis and its capacity to influence existing dynamics, affirming that this axis retains its role and standing in the region. The gathering concluded with salutes to Iran, the resistance forces in Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq, and all parties that have supported regional causes. Participants also criticized what they described as internal political stances that downplay the significance of this support.
