Dozens of Palestinian civilians were killed and injured earlier on Monday following an Israeli bombing of the Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City.
Israeli forces raided early Monday the al-Shifa Medical Complex under heavy aerial and artillery cover fire.
The Israeli military announced an operation was underway in al-Shifa, claiming Palestinian Resistance fighters were using the complex. Israeli military drones opened fire on Palestinians in the vicinity of the hospital as Israeli warplanes launched fire belts in the area.
Israeli forces stormed the Specialized Surgery Building and the Emergency Reception Building in Building 8, and opened fire directly at anyone who moved.
Local sources said that the occupation forces detained dozens of citizens from inside Al-Shifa Medical Complex.
