123 days of war and the occupation continues its bombing on Gaza...continuous displacement and hospitals in the line of fire

The Israeli war on the Gaza Strip has entered its 123rd consecutive day, leaving tens of thousands of martyrs and wounded two million displaced people and massive destruction that affected more than half of the Strip’s buildings.

Israeli warplanes continue to bomb citizens' homes, while the suffering of the people of the Gaza Strip increases due to the cold and rainy weather, in addition to the spread of diseases, and the lack of food and water.

The occupation warplanes launched violent raids on areas south of the city of Khan Yunis and the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.

In this context, 6 citizens were martyred and others were injured as a result of the occupation bombing of a residential apartment in Tower D6 in Hamad City, northwest of Khan Yunis.

In the early hours of Tuesday morning, Israeli occupation aircraft launched air strikes on the southern area of the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
 


Palestinian sources reported that occupation artillery targeted the center and west of Khan Yunis with artillery shelling, coinciding with gunfire from occupation vehicles penetrating those areas.

Shrapnel fell in the courtyard of the Nasser Medical Hospital, west of the city of Khan Yunis, after nearby houses were subjected to Israeli artillery shelling.

Israeli bombing also targeted a house in the Al-Dhahra area in Khan Yunis as a result of it being targeted by the occupation.

As a result of the difficult living conditions and the extreme cold that harms the displaced people, the displaced woman in Deir al-Balah, Fatima Shehadeh Zaqout, was martyred due to the extreme cold and lack of treatment.

Yesterday evening, Monday, the Palestinian Red Crescent announced the evacuation of all displaced people from Al-Amal Hospital and the association’s headquarters in Khan Yunis, while only 40 displaced elderly people remained, in addition to about 80 sick and wounded people, and 100 of the association’s administrative and medical staff.

In a statement, the Red Crescent described the conditions inside Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Yunis as “tragic for those who remained wounded.”

In its latest statistics, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced yesterday, Monday, that the occupation forces committed 13 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, claiming 113 martyrs and 205 injuries.

It reported that the toll of the military aggression against Gaza had risen to 27,478 martyrs and 66,835 wounded, including serious and very serious, since October 7th.
