A Displaced Lebanese Citizen's Testament to Resilience and Sacrifice

A Lebanese woman displaced from the southern regions, the Bekaa, and the southern suburbs of Beirut spoke about the experience of displacement and the loss of homes due to shelling. She stated, "I am a daughter of the South and a daughter of the suburbs. We left our homes, but we were taught from childhood the meaning of sacrifice, and we offer our blood for the sake of our beloved homeland. This is what our elders taught us, and we forge value for our nation from our very blood."

She further emphasized, "We instill a culture of life in our children. We do not learn merely to survive, but to build a future for generations of heroes. We are the people of steadfastness—the people of the South, Bekaa, and the suburbs. We pay the price for our nation's freedom and dignity to live with pride and resilience, and we will not allow anyone to approach our land. Our youth have said 'no' to every tyrant and oppressor, and to anyone who attempts to violate a single inch of our homeland."

She continued, "Our homes were destroyed, but we will find compensation, and we have the capacity to recover with the support of the concerned authorities. The people of steadfastness have been our role models, and we learned patience and fortitude from the lessons of Karbala, which sustains us today in facing reality."

The displaced woman clarified, "We see victory with our own eyes. If we are martyred, our destiny is Paradise, and we have no fear of that. If we remain alive, we will witness victory with our own eyes, God willing, whether now or later. Victory is undoubtedly ours."
