
The daily situation report issued by the Disaster Risk Management Unit at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers in Beirut indicates a significant increase in internally displaced persons (IDPs). The total number of self-registered IDPs has now reached 816,700 individuals.
According to the report, approximately 125,800 displaced persons are currently residing within 590 open collective shelters across various Lebanese regions. These shelters are hosting an estimated 31,900 displaced families.
Regarding hostilities, the report documented 1,450 incidents. The cumulative human toll has risen to 634 fatalities and 1,586 injuries. Within the last 24-hour reporting period alone, 64 fatalities and 142 injuries were recorded.
On the humanitarian assistance front, the report detailed substantial aid distributions. This included 585,694 hot and cold meals and 42,742 ready-to-eat food parcels. Furthermore, 32,967 personal hygiene kits and 1,218 children's kits were distributed, alongside the provision of 351,310 liters of potable water.
In terms of core relief items, distributions have provided critical support to affected and displaced families, including 118,662 mattresses and 137,258 blankets.
