The Imam Khomeini Complex for the Iranian Community in Beirut, Lebanon, marked the 47th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran through a series of artistic, cultural, and political events as part of the "Ten Days of Dawn" celebrations.
The commemoration featured the "Light" exhibition at the museum hall, which displayed archival photographs documenting pivotal stages of the Revolution's victory. The exhibition chronicled events from Imam Khomeini's arrival in Tehran through the subsequent political and security developments that reshaped the region.
Accompanying the exhibition was a "Calligraphy and Sand Art" workshop, where a number of Lebanese calligraphers and visual artists participated, presenting works and manuscripts inspired by the occasion.
The program also included a cinematic presentation titled "Narrative of the Dawn," showcasing short films recounting the events of the "Ten Days of Dawn." This was followed by a cultural presentation by narrator Alaa Qobeisi, who described how the Lebanese people witnessed those historic days and the impact of the Revolution's victory on their hearts and on freedom advocates worldwide, using descriptive excerpts and authentic narratives from Lebanese experiences of that era.
Furthermore, the complex organized a political symposium titled "Why Did the Islamic Revolution Succeed?" presented by Dr. Abbas Qattaya. The symposium analyzed the reasons for the Revolution's success and its political, social, and regional dimensions, along with its ongoing influence on the region.
The day's events concluded with segments of religious and revolutionary anthems performed by revolutionary orator Hajj Yahya Hadraj, attended by a wide audience from the Iranian community and numerous individuals interested in cultural and political affairs in Lebanon.
