King Charles III Receives Credentials of Lebanon's Ambassador to the UK, Farah Berri

His Majesty King Charles III formally accepted the credentials of Ambassador Farah Berri, the new Ambassador of Lebanon to the United Kingdom, during a high-level royal ceremony held at St James's Palace. The event was conducted in accordance with the long-standing diplomatic tradition observed by the British Royal Court.

The proceedings commenced at Lancaster House, from where Ambassador Berri departed in the official State Coach to the Palace to present her letters of credence to the King. This ceremonial act marks the official commencement of her diplomatic mission and the beginning of a new chapter in Lebanon's diplomatic representation in London, aimed at strengthening the historical ties between the two nations.

Following the formal ceremony at the Palace, Ambassador Farah Berri hosted a diplomatic reception to mark the presentation of her credentials. The event was attended by a gathering of political and diplomatic figures, where the depth of the relations linking Lebanon and the United Kingdom was reaffirmed, alongside the mission's aspirations to further develop these bonds.

Furthermore, Ambassador Berri—daughter of Nabih Berri, Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament—held extensive meetings with members of the Lebanese and Arab communities in London. She emphasized the role of the Embassy as a home for all Lebanese nationals and reiterated her commitment to addressing their concerns and enhancing communication with the diaspora in service of the national interest.
