Solidarity Gatherings Across Lebanon in Support of the Islamic Republic of Iran

A solidarity gathering was organized in the city of Tyre on Monday, in front of the Martyr Haitham Dabouq roundabout. The event expressed support for the Islamic Republic of Iran, its wise leadership, and its people. It also condemned insults directed at the Guardian of Muslims, Imam Ali Khamenei (may his shadow endure), and rejected American-Zionist threats.

The gathering in Tyre was one of several activities coordinated by Hezbollah in solidarity with the Islamic Republic. Similar events were held at the Sayyid al-Shuhada complex in Beirut's southern suburbs, the Husseiniya in the city of Nabatieh, and the shrine of Lady Khawla (peace be upon her) in Baalbek.

During the demonstration, participants raised portraits of Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei. They emphasized that any offense against his stature is an affront to a major religious authority and a leadership that symbolizes unity and steadfastness in the face of hegemonic and arrogant projects. They framed these campaigns as part of a political and media war targeting the Axis of Resistance and its strategic choices.

Participants articulated that "solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran is a principled stance, stemming from a belief in the choice of resistance and independence, and a rejection of all forms of pressure, blackmail, and threat—whether through sanctions, media campaigns, or military intimidation."

Furthermore, they stressed that "these gatherings express a clear popular position in defense of dignity and sovereignty, and a commitment to the path of resistance." They affirmed standing alongside Iran, its leadership, and its people in confronting all forms of targeting, renewing their pledge to continue on this path until the goals of liberation and justice are achieved.
