In a statement to UniNews agency, Mr. Mohammed Muftah, the Acting Prime Minister of the National Change and Building Government, characterized the ongoing attempts to destabilize the Islamic Republic of Iran as part of a "Western-Israeli-American aggression." He asserted that these actions represent a continuation of what he termed the "twelve-day war" waged against Iran by its adversaries last year.
Commenting on recent U.S. threats to target Iran under the pretext of supporting protesters, Muftah described the situation as a "premeditated conspiracy." He alleged that mercenaries, agents, and spies have been recruited in a plot to undermine Iran's internal stability. However, he expressed confidence that this project is "heading towards failure due to the steadfastness and wisdom of the Iranian leadership."
Muftah pointed to the Iranian public's demonstrations of support for their leadership as evidence of their awareness of the gravity of the plotted schemes and their readiness to confront this "malicious conspiracy." He stated that the plot has already resulted in the martyrdom of dozens of innocent civilians and significant damage to public property.
The Acting Prime Minister labeled the U.S. threats as an expression of "arrogance, hegemony, and falsehood." He argued that while Washington claims to stand with protesters, the reality indicates that acts of sabotage are perpetrated by gangs recruited by American intelligence services. He further claimed that genuine protesters have reached understandings with the Iranian government to address their grievances.
Reaffirming Yemen's supportive stance, Muftah emphasized that any aggression targeting Iran is considered an aggression against the Yemeni people and all nations of the region. He declared a commitment to stand with Iran "with all available means and capabilities" in confronting American and Israeli aggression.
