Demonstrators carried images of the founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini, the current Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and the late martyr General Qasem Soleimani. Concurrently, the Iranian government has declared a three-day national mourning period for the victims of the recent disturbances. State media has broadcast an official government statement reporting the martyrdom of 38 security force members during the violent incidents.
