During his participation in a program titled "Islamic Iran; The Front of Islamic Dignity Against the Zionist Entity," Sheikh Mamosta Iqbal Bahmani, a member of Iran's Assembly of Experts, articulated the Islamic Republic's position as the standard-bearer of divine dignity and the front of truth in opposition to Zionism and global arrogance. He emphasized that, from a Quranic perspective, the concept of true dignity is reserved exclusively for God, His Messenger, and the believers, and is realized when the faithful follow the path of obedience to God and His Prophet.
Bahmani cited Quranic verses, framing the history of divine messages as a perpetual struggle between truth and falsehood. He posed a rhetorical question identifying contemporary equivalents of historical oppressors such as Nimrod and Pharaoh, explicitly naming the Zionist entity and the arrogant United States as the modern manifestations. He asserted that the Iranian people, the Islamic Republic's system, its supreme leadership, and the Axis of Resistance currently stand in confrontation against these forces.
He stressed that this steadfast stance has, in his view, earned the Iranian people a special divine dignity due to their resilience against injustice and tyranny. Bahmani further stated that divine dignity is achieved through the establishment of divine governance and the path of Jihad. He contended that by consolidating a system based on religious and Islamic values, the Islamic Republic of Iran has defended the oppressed and stood against despotism and arrogance—a stance he claims is rejected by the U.S., the Zionist entity, and other enemies of Islam.
The cleric accused global arrogance of promoting what he termed a "spiritless Islam"—one devoid of movement, Jihad, and resistance. In contrast, he described authentic Muhammadan Islam as one of dignity, resistance, and confronting injustice. He argued that this fundamental difference is why adversaries, in his analysis, plot to eliminate the Palestinian cause and weaken the Islamic world.
In another segment of his address, Bahmani highlighted Iran's scientific and defensive capabilities. He claimed that Iran, relying on God and the efforts of its people, has achieved significant advancements in scientific, nuclear, and missile fields. This progress, he asserted, enables Iran to stand firm against arrogant and unjust regimes and ably defend its national sovereignty and dignity.
Concluding his remarks, Bahmani referenced divine promises in the Quran, affirming that God has promised victory to the patient believers. He expressed confidence that the Iranian people, under the wise leadership of the Supreme Leader and with a steadfast faith, will ultimately prevail in this confrontation with God's assistance.
