Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, a member of Yemen's Supreme Political Council, has asserted that the tragic events unfolding in the southern and eastern provinces are part of a long-standing strategy orchestrated by the nations leading the aggression, specifically Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. He further claimed to possess information confirming direct coordination between the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council and the Israeli entity.
In statements to the Unews agency, bin Habtoor cited public remarks by the Israeli Minister of Defense as evidence of this alignment, describing them as a dangerous indicator of an initial, formal foothold for Israel in Aden. He contended that Emirati maneuvers are actively serving the interests of global Zionism in the region.
Bin Habtoor argued that any party aligning itself with the Emirati agenda is, in practice, serving the Zionist project. He cautioned against being swayed by what he termed "emotional illusions" that frame the ongoing events as an independence movement, insisting this narrative is a falsehood propagated by Zionist ideologues and their regional agents.
He emphasized that the current situation represents a direct continuation of the Saudi-Emirati aggression against Yemen. Bin Habtoor held all those who participate in or support this path responsible for what he called "treason," warning that they would face severe reckoning in the days to come.
