Israeli Prime Minister Affirms Commitment to Neutralize Hezbollah Threat

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has issued a firm declaration that Israel will not permit Hezbollah to re-emerge as a security threat. In an official statement, he called upon the Lebanese government to fulfill its obligations by disarming the militant group. The Prime Minister also confirmed that Israeli forces had successfully eliminated Haitham Tabatabai, a senior Hezbollah commander.

This development coincides with reports from Hebrew Channel 13 indicating that the Israeli military is contemplating further operations on the Lebanese front.

Concurrently, international media, including Axios and Channel 12, have cited a U.S. official who stated that the United States has not received any formal complaint from the Lebanese government concerning the assassination of Tabatabai.
