Released prisoner Ayham Kamji: What the people of Gaza did is a legend beyond description, and you are a crown at the head of the nation

Released Palestinian prisoner Ayham Kamji, who was released as part of the recent prisoner exchange deal with the Israeli occupation and was deported out of Palestine, expressed his strong feelings towards the steadfastness of the people of Gaza, describing what they did during the war as "a real myth that no human being can handle."

In his first statement after his release, Kamji said: "I find myself helpless in front of the people of Gaza, who have made the legends come true. What they have done will be glorified on earth and in the heavens, and words cannot describe their heroism."

The released prisoner, who is famous for his participation in the Gilboa prison operation in 2021, added: "When I received the news of the release, I felt a great weight in my heart, and I asked myself: How will I face the people of Gaza? How do I look into the eyes of widows and orphans? This is a feeling that can only be described to the One who created the heavens. With all the pain for those we lost, I am proud to belong to this great people to which Gazans belong."

Kamji concluded his speech by saying: "You and God are a crown at the head of the nation, and you have established the argument against the greatest states. You are the ones who teach the world how the manufacture of men is at its origin. May Allah make us dear to you and make us companions in this world and brothers on couches facing each other in the hereafter."

A number of leaders of Palestinian factions received in Cairo on Monday evening the released prisoners who were deported from Palestine, hours after the implementation of the first phase of the prisoner exchange agreement and the cessation of the war on the Gaza Strip, which was reached with the mediation of Egyptian, Qatari and American.
