Inauguration of the "Martyr Al-Quds Public Library" at the Imam Khomeini Complex in Beirut: 16 thousand books for the pioneers of knowledge

The Imam Khomeini Complex in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, inaugurated the "Al-Quds Martyr Public Library", under the patronage of the late Imam Khomeini's deputy and Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Lebanon, Sayyid Issa Tabatabai, and in the presence of the son of the supreme martyr, Sayyid Muhammad Mahdi Nasrallah.

The library includes more than 16,000 books in Arabic and Persian, and is available to young people and all knowledge pioneers, as its activities are not limited to lending and reading, but also include various scientific and cultural events.



The opening was preceded by an introductory session, during which Mr. Tabatabai delivered a speech in which he referred to the virtues of the martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, pointing to his prominent keenness to publish libraries and promote science and culture.

For his part, the Deputy of Students and Researchers Affairs at the Seminaries of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Sheikh Ali Ghanavati, described the occasion as "a blessed event and a prominent cultural occasion", which coincided with the anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyid Hashem Safieddin.

Kanawati praised the efforts of Mr. Tabatabai in serving the youth and intellectuals, noting that during the occasion, a new book written by the martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, presented by his son, Sayyed Mohamed Mahdi Nasrallah, was unveiled.

The ceremony concluded by stressing that the library will be a beacon of science and culture and an important station for the young generation and lovers of the Resistance Front.
