The Syrian Ministry of Defense has reported an Israeli airstrike from Athriya, southeast of Aleppo Governorate, which occurred at approximately 1:45 am.
The attack targeted multiple locations in the Aleppo countryside in northern Syria.
The Ministry disclosed that this Israeli aggression coincided with a drone attack orchestrated by terrorist organizations from Idlib and the western countryside of Aleppo.
The attack led to the death and injury of numerous civilians and soldiers. Moreover, the aggression caused significant losses in both public and private property.the Syrian army’s air defenses were able to intercept the Israeli aggression in the airspace over Aleppo.
This recent attack comes only days after another Israeli assault targeted a residential building in the countryside of Damascus, leaving two innocent civilians injured. The Israeli enemy launched this aerial aggression from the occupied Syrian Golan in a blatant violation of Syrian sovereignty.
