At least 20 Palestinian civilians, including women and children, were killed today as Israeli warplanes launched a series of intense airstrikes in Gaza City, according to local and medical sources.

The sources reported that Israeli warplanes bombed a vehicle on Salah al-Din Street in the eastern areas of the city, resulting in the murder of eight civilians, including five children and two women, and dozens of injuries.

Additionally, 10 civilians were killed as Israeli fighter jets struck a residential building on Al-Wehda Street, east of the Al-Shifa Medical Complex in western Gaza City, where the Israeli occupation army has been carrying out a military offensive for over 10 days.

Simultaneously, the Israeli military targeted civilians in the center of the town of Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza Strip, resulting in the killing of two brothers, Marwan and Azmi Abu Salah, and injuring several others.

Earlier today, local health authorities confirmed that the Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught on Gaza since October 7 has risen to 32,623 reported fatalities, with an additional 75,092 individuals sustaining injuries. The majority of the victims are women and children.

Meanwhile, ambulance and rescue teams are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave, as Israeli occupation forces continue to obstruct the movement of and medical and civil defense teams.
